Open June, July & August 2025
Our rink is a community resource run by volunteers. While we don't have the smoothest ice nor the sharpest skates, our mission is to provide a fun, low cost family experience.

Our Project

Our Heritage
The ice skating rink opened in 1951 and is one of the few natural ice skating locations remaining in New Zealand.

Visit Staveley
Staveley is a small township on the Canterbury Plains, in the foothills to the Southern Alps on the South Island of New Zealand. Named for Robert Staveley, a run holder in the area and who had his own farm in this location.
